In brief PowerStop works this way: You replace the standard power cord for the electronic equipment with PowerStops special power cord, which contains a chip. A central place in the building is located an Electronic code that sends a signal to the power cord chip. If the chip does not receive signal from the electronic code the hardware cannot be turned on. I.e. if the equipment is stolen and being attempted to used elsewhere, it will not receive the signal from Electronic code and the equipment cannot be used.
With PowerStop there is no need for extra security in the form of steel wires, bolts, steel cabinets etc. The electronic equipment can in daily use be moved within the circuit and connect without using PIN codes or locks.
When PowerStop is installed, the anti-theft protection works completely without additional operational needs, and users will not notice the system at all. The system works constantly and is always connected to power. Power Stop is financially in the purchase, operation and possible expansion.
Besides intelligent object security of electronic devices PowerStop also have an effective built-in energy saving function which can save standby power consumption of the connected devices.

Warn the thief before he breaks in
Power Stop is an anti-theft system with great deterrent. Therefore, marking of the electronic equipment and on doors and windows to the building where the equipment is placed is of great importance. Empirically the risk of burglary is reduced up to 70%.
PowerStop is delivered with stickers for outdoor and indoor marking of windows and doors and on the electronic equipment. Power cord with chip and electronic code
PowerStop anti-theft system consists of a power cord with a chip and an Electronic code. The chip which will be installed on all the electronic devices that needs to be secured and set up for energy saving. The Electronic code will be installed in a central place in the building. When the Electronic code is connected, the chip will receive signal from the electronic code and the chip then will turn the power on.

If the electronic equipment is stolen and the thief is trying to use the equipment elsewhere, it will not receive signal from the Electronic code, and can not be used while it will not receive any power. The chip can not be removed from the electronic unit, which makes PowerStop into one of the market's most secure systems. | |

The power cord with chip is attached to the equipment
The existing power cord is removed from the equipment and PowerStop power cord is mounted and is fastened with a special lubricate hardener. The new power cord is installed in the chassis of the equipment. After two hours the hardener has becomne so hard that it becomes imposible to separate the chip from the chasis and the equipment has become secured. The chip can only be removed again by destroying the back of the secured equipment and replacing the power plug, which is a tough and expensive procedure. |

If you need to take the equipment out of the building with you the chip can be programmed to work up to 99 hours before it needs to be brought back to the building and reconnect to the signal from the PowerStop system. If the equipment is frequently used in two or more locations the chip can be set to work in several networks. Should you wish to sell on your equipment the chip can be reprogrammed to work as an ordinary power supply and PowerStop will therefore not affect the sale. | |

The electronic code is installed The electronic code is placed centrally in the building. The electronic code can easily be connected with existing alarm systems. Once the building is left and the alarm is activated a signal is sent to the electronic code, which ensures that the power supply to the designated chips is cut off. When the alarm is deactivated the following work day a signal is sent and the chips are reactivated ensuring power supply to your electronic equipment. Your equipment has therefore not been on standby power all night long. This function is also controlable with a built-in clock, i.e. ensuring that all computers in a school switch off at 5 pm. The electronic code can either be installed through a keyboard on the actual code or through a web server. The system is available in all sizes and accommodates all needs - from 5 units to 125 units, and is sold by the names: PowerStop 5, PowerStop 20, PowerStop 125. The figure refers to the number of units can be connected per Electronic code. If you wish to secure more than 125 units, this requires only the purchase of an extra electronic code. |

Web-server |
|
Every single power cord can be controlled by the electronic code through a keyboard or by a web-server. Through the web-server the client can install and control the system settings. The electronic code is provided with a built-in web-server (optional in Basic 5-20).
